Hilarious, undoubtedly hilarious! I thought Brake Failure by Alison Brodie was going to be a good book, but I was wrong, it was a GREAT books, incredible, I had so much fun reading this book that I had to share it with my friends. Ruby is the perfect main character, who will give you side splitting laughs as well as make you feel for her in more ways than one.
Ruby is so excited when her husband Edward is offered a job in Paris, since that’s her dream, or more so her step-sister Claire’s dream- who she is extremely competitive with- but Ruby’s husband doesn’t take that job, he takes one in the United States, Kansas to be exact (yes, Kansas where nothing exceptionally great happens, and there is no Eiffel Tower).
